You're Invited: Upcoming Community Meetings

Hi neighbors,

I’m reaching out to share a few important updates and invite you to join several upcoming meetings that affect our community:

1.  WMATA’s New Metrobus Plan – June 24, 7–9 PM
Blessed Sacrament Church, 3630 Quesada St NW (enter from the parking lot)
WMATA’s redesigned Metrobus network goes into effect June 29, with new route numbers, stop changes, and updated service. Learn how this impacts routes like the M4, E4, L2, and L8. The event includes a short WMATA video, route insights from Friends of Bus Transit, and a live Q&A.

2. DDOT Community Meeting – June 25, 7 PM
Commissioner Gosselin and I are hosting this meeting to hear your transportation concerns. We’ll discuss the January Nevada & McKinley survey results and parking changes in response to WMATA’s new routes. Register here: DDOT Community Meeting

3. DC Water Sewer Project Update – July 2, 7–8 PM (via Zoom)
Some residents have reported basement backups linked to DC Water’s sewer lining work. I’ve organized a meeting with DC Water for SMD 05 residents to address these concerns.  Register for the meeting here: DC Water Community Meeting

4. ANC Civic Core Survey
6 Days Left to Take the Civic Core Survey! ANC 3/4G is gathering final community input on the Chevy Chase Civic Site through an anonymous survey at this link: 3/4G ANC Survey. To compare the design concepts, view them here: Civic Core Survey Concept Designs. For more background, visit the full project page: Chevy Chase Civic Site .
