DC PLUG Feeder 467 Construction Notice – Saturday, September 26, 2026

Weather permitting
The DC PLUG contractor for Feeder 467 will conduct work on Livingston Street, NW, and Nevada Avenue, NW, including conduit installation, backfill, sidewalk restoration, and paving.
Affected areas include:
3700 block of Livingston Street, NW
3800–3900 blocks of Livingston Street, NW
5300–5500 blocks of Nevada Avenue, NW
5600 block of Nevada Avenue, NW
Traffic and parking impacts: Detours will be in place, and residents are asked to avoid parking in the affected areas. “No Parking” signs will be posted in advance.

I encourage residents to report traffic concerns—such as speeding, drivers running stop signs, or requests for speed bumps—to 311.
311 reports are entered into DDOT’s Traffic Safety Input (TSI) system. The more complaints and reported incidents at a location, the more likely DDOT is to review it for potential traffic-safety improvements. Learn more about the TSI system here: https://tsi.ddot.dc.gov
Please see the attached notification letter from DDOT regarding changes to Connecticut Avenue, along with my letter to DDOT and their response. For those who have expressed concerns about Northampton Street and Connecticut Avenue becoming a high-speed cut-through for traffic, DDOT plans to eliminate the left turn at that intersection. Hopefully, this change will help improve safety and reduce traffic impacts on Northampton Street. Please refer to the information provided above to report any traffic or pedestrian safety concerns to DDOT.
Reminder, the Hawk light at Legation and Connecticut Ave should be operational soon!!
